How Our Network Works
Who You Talk To
You talk to an independent plumbing, drain or sewer provider in our network. There are no staff profiles here, because Sitbobby Plumbing does not do the plumbing. We simply make the introduction. The provider is the person who looks at your problem, quotes the job and does the work.
What Happens on the First Conversation
Expect a few plain questions. Where is the water or smell? Is anything still running? Which fixtures are slow or backed up? What kind of home is it, and roughly how old? Have your answers ready. Short, clear details help the provider decide what to bring and what to plan for.
The provider may give a rough range over the phone. Treat that as a starting point. Final pricing usually depends on what they find on site.
What to Ask an Independent Plumber
Keep this list handy:
- Are you licensed and insured in this state?
- What is the quote, and will I get it in writing?
- What could change the price once you start?
- How long will the work take, and how much of the house will be disrupted?
- Will you document the damage in case I file a claim?
- Is there a warranty on parts or labor from your business?
Write down the answers. If the quote sounds vague, ask again.
Planning Around Your Day
Busy households need a realistic plan. Ask for an arrival window and a contact number. Move toys, cars and laundry out of the way before the visit. If you need water for school mornings or dinner, ask which valves will be off and for how long. Many providers can respond quickly, but timing depends on their schedule.
You Are in Control
Asking for an estimate carries no obligation. You can compare quotes, ask for another opinion or wait. Nothing starts until you agree to it with the provider. If something feels pushy, you can say no and move on.
